It's a new year and we are revving to go! God has blessed us with a wonderful 2012!

December 2012
One of our members graciously hosted the Christmas party at her home. A wonderful evening surrounded by good friends and lots of great food!
November 2012
Purchased soccer balls so a member can take them with her on her mission trip to Uganda.
Started PURPLE hats for infants to raise awareness of shaken baby syndrome

Fall Bazaar was a success! Thanks for all your hard work!
Undie Sunday - so a member can take on her mission trip to Uganda to help supply undies to the locals in need.

Cat's Meow fundraiser to purchase a heart defibulizer for the church.
August 2012
Care package to our foster child, to show him God's love
Started recycling ink cartridges at Staples and give $ 20 monthly gift certificate from Staples to our foster child to help purchase school supplies.
Back packs and school supplies to DHHR to help local foster children go back to school with the needed supplies.

Donations to St Mark' s Episcopal Church (Christ's Kitchen) to help feed the homeless.

May was a busy month for the Women's group! The Women held a yard sale / concession stand to raise funds to purchase refrigerator and washing machine for an orphanage in Monjas, Guatemala as well as holding the annual Mother's Day Banquet. The Youth Group served over 70 Women at the Banquet and entertained them with a "fun" fashion show.
April 2012
Eleven fleece blankets were donated to foster children who will be attending the Royal Family Kids' Summer Camp.
The Women's group "adopted" a foster child and frequently send him presents and school supplies to show God's love to him.
GUATEMALA FUNDRAISER LUNCHEON
March 2012
A fundraiser was held in March to raise funds to help support WUMW President, Judy Pauley's Mission trip to Guatemala in June 2012.
February 2012
The Women's group received permission to feature an adoptive child each month in the Sunday church bulletin. "Sunday's child" is a chance for people to become aware of foster children and the opportunity to pray for that child to find a forever home.
2011 Christmas Dinner

The Winfield United Methodist Women held their annual Christmas dinner on December 19th. Tracie Long gave a wonderful inspirational program and we had lots of good food and fellowship with our Sisters in Christ.
